۵ UNDESIRED CR: i'm cool with everything, within reason — we're all adults here, and capable of separating ic and ooc, so DO NOT BE AFRAID to pursue negative cr with me. peter's a good guy! but he is pretty self-righteous, very moralistic, and he has very strong beliefs on right and wrong and can be kind of ... preachy at times. he's also very prone to (not entirely deliberately) hiding things from others, mostly out of a desire to protect people but also because he's just used to it by this point, so feel free to call him out on it. he's also pretty short-tempered so—

۵ PLANS: honestly, i need to figure out 100% the direction i want to take peter in at the moment — i feel like i've become a little stagnant (which has, in turn, fed into the speed of my tagging which — sorry!). there are a couple of explorations i've got vaguely planned, but beyond that, i'd like to delve more into the spider-man side of things because that's definitely fallen to the wayside with recent events in game. i'm optimistic that the forthcoming event will have something that'll be a good springboard for that!

Believes he's better than all y'all, interests include tactics, swordsmanship, archery, poetry, and grape wine. Dislikes idiots and snakes. Has a fucking gorgeous wife and some people have seen memories of her! Killed by a mountain-sized 8-headed serpent monster in a daringly altruistic last stand at Hulao Gate. Fluent in sarcasm and mystified by plaid.

۵ PLANS: while I'm on hiatus he's on autopilot, just doing his thing I guess. I haven't decided what to do about the event, whether he can be kidnapped off-screen and open for rescue or what. He wants to step back from exploring on his own and go back to administration. He's still pretty rattled by his death and the subsequent yeeting of his killer, old nightmares are resurfacing a lot. Hell, I can't even decide whether to have him move into the hotel downtown or stay where he is, I'm sort of up in the air about where to go with a lot of things. I would not mind bouncing ideas off some people even if they don't lead to threads.

۵ SUMMARY: A formerly brainwashed assassin for a very evil secret organization, and before THAT a Brooklyn boy who got drafted into WW2 and learned to snipe. They're getting better (yes, they go gender-neutral for now cuz they don't think they're a person yet, we're almost there) but it's a long, slow, painful sort of road learning how to accept feelings and feelings of self-worth and shit.

۵ DESIRED CR: I'm open to anything, honestly. Soldat is particularly looking for students-- weaponry, hand-to-hand, origami, Morse code, swing dancing, whatever-- and I'm kind of low-key looking for some negative CR? Surely there must be someone somewhere who doesn't like Soldat, who can help them explore feelings of Not Liking Someone Without Wanting To Kill Them. This is not to say I don't want more friends! Soldat needs lots of support and people to look after, cuz they are still pretty busted up. Just sayin'. A lil negative CR might be helpful.
۵ UNDESIRED CR: No romance for a while please, they ain't in a good place for that. (Plus Misty will have to vet you, and that will be scary.)
۵ PLANS: They've recently got a slew of new memories which did a little breaking of their brain, and then they lost 2/3 of their family-type people, which broke it a little more. Currently they're living with Misty Day, with Aziraphale, Crowley, and Scarlett's old stuff under their bed, and they're a little mopey. They're gonna get kidnapped and tortured in a week or so, and I have no real idea how that's gonna roll out in regards to their mental state. We just gotta wait and see.

I do plan to have them take over Midge's daily meals starting like... Tuesday-ish? I gotta get that in to the mods... and they've got a big ole box of portal data they need to share with Solis and the rest of Beacon too, but grieving and then kidnapping had to happen first.

۵ SUMMARY: A grumpy old man-slash-dragon who actually died of old age, as strange as that is in this place. He normally looks like an utterly colorless, gangling-tall, delicate-looking old man with too-sharp teeth and one blind eye. He is pretty touchy for an old dude, but it's meant well. He just wants everyone (including himself) to have the minimum amount of hugs for good mental health. Also, he turns into a big spiney dragon thing with an 80-foot wingspan. He's about as tall as the Invincible. He's Big.

۵ UNDESIRED CR: Nada, Stone is a strong old boy, he can take whatever you throw at him. He's even romancable, if you happen to like grumpy old men, and are very patient with getting there.
۵ PLANS: Not a damn thing, which is a bit of a problem. He's got his usual "eat at the Invincible, take a flight around the explored areas, take a dip in the bay for a bath, sleep wherever he falls asleep" routine, but I haven't made a whole ton of actual plans. Mostly this is my fault, because I focus so heavily on Bucky, but I have also played Stone for several years now and his CR in his other game took a big hit so he's also a little quiet in my brain ANYWAY. Let me know if there's anything anybody particularly wants to do with him? I may wind up swapping him out for another, more active character at some point, if I can't drag him into some kind of activity.

He laughs and smiles at all the wrong things, but it’s just to hide that he’s really angry and hurting on the inside. He doesn’t really know who he is as a person, so that’s nice. His canon point is an odd middle point between A Clash of Kings and A Dance with Dragons, while he's at the Dreadfort but before he becomes Reek. #askmemore

۵ DESIRED CR: All of it tbh. Theon’s great with negative CR because he’s so stubborn and refuses to admit he’s wrong literally ever, but he’s capable of forming positive CR with the right people. I always love when people to see through his act and recognize that he’s just pitiful and lost inside, and everything he says is a front.

۵ PLANS: That’s the PROBLEM. I DON’T KNOW. He’s still fairly new and not settling in very well. He wanted to try to hop the ferry to see where it returns to because he doesn’t actually believe he’s dead and a ship has to return to its home port sometime, but I need to talk to mods about that to see if it’s even possible to climb back aboard. I’m pretty open for stuff, though.

۵ DESIRED CR: Always looking for people who will push him a little. He likes a lot of people in a broad sense but still shies away from letting most of them get to know him personally. It's a slow path to friendship but it's possible for the truly persistent.

Also very much looking for people he can talk to about the big picture plot stuff. He's pretty focused on the World Eater issue and keeps up with gathering info and trying to put it all together, so people who want to get involved in plot stuff or who already are and want someone to talk about it with, he's your guy.

۵ SUMMARY: a dumb dramatic cop from 19th century france. you all know him as that guy that hunted jean valjean for seventeen years because he broke his parole and stole. he used to be overly dedicated to his job, but he's a little bit less so now. he still has a huge amount of respect for authority, though, and is really uptight and proper most of the time.

in beacon, he's the guy that runs the combat training and first aid lessons at the village gym. he's on the patrol roster and has keeping tabs on the spirit parade with matt murdock, but ever since he broke his leg at the beginning february, he hasn't been doing too much of that.

Daylight has two great legacies resting on his shoulder thanks to his universe still scarred from a great intergalactic war that spanned centuries and planets. Despite some hard knocks he got in life while growing up - never knowing his parents due to them dying young, losing his human family due to different lifespans, the isolation during his informative years - he tries his best to be optimistic and friendly. He's a big believer of everyone deserving a second chance and wants to keep the peace or do right by others. He tries his best in whatever he does, be it his job or simply trying to be supportive of his friends. I hope you like a tol metal boy always by your side, future friends.

Daylight has been in the game since its opening and he's been through a lot but determined to stay positive, stay optimistic that they can do this. Though his genuine bubbliness and cheer that has taken a bit of a hit because he found out the truth about his circumstances so... He is Trying His Best, my God. He's currently working on a project - studying and explaining the spirits' language to make it more accessible to others - and he has plans to work on a memorial garden either this month or next month!

- CURRENT PLANS: Daylight ICly has made an update to the spirit language project - found in LINKS if you'd like to speak with him - and is currently helping Rosinante and the gang out with getting the crocodile spirits out of the small. Planning a mini-catch all event where Day leaves gifts for people whose birthday are on March because his birthday is on the 20th! (Which is... such good timing considering the Wild Heart event... :'>)

- FUTURE PLANS: Shall be one of the kidnapped victims of the Wild Heart Part 1 event, because I need to get it through Daylight's head that there's only so much mercy and ground you can give to the Green-Eyed Spirits before you need to push back. Will be going on an exploration with Duster, Soldat, Eliot, and Quentin around the 26th, where two groups accidentally run into each other in the woods and decide to that they should team up.

... Also debating on doing a backdated log where Day just gets. Wasted after the Night We Met event, since he found out about the truth of his birth and he was pretty upset about that.

۵ SUMMARY: A moody Vastayan (half bird, half human), that can be sharp on the tongue. Speaks her mind a lot and gets in trouble a lot- she's used to it. A rebel that stood up against humans in Ionia, hunting down shadow priests and ninjas, killing anyone in her path for destroying her tribe and trying to destroy her homeland.

۵ SUMMARY: Aside from the NPCs like Robin and Rastus, Will has been here longer than anyone else. He used to be an NPC himself, but he got demoted when I stepped down. He survived a reset as part of the previous group in Beacon, mostly because he's a cockroach. Back in his world he worked as a terraformer, but here he's just an asshole who knows how to do fancy shit on the tablets. He is from the future and outer space. Honestly he's kind of an unpleasant person to interact with, but somehow he still has friends acquaintances who tolerate him. He is smart, unfortunately knows it, and loves to argue. Approach with caution.

۵ PLANS: Will is not up to much at this exact second, but he'll have a post up in the next couple of days including the results of his recent, uh, offer. I'm not really sure what good he'll be since he is a weakling with nerd bones, but hey, maybe he can provide technological support.

۵ SUMMARY: Gregor is a magic-user from a world that's basically real life except magic is secretly a thing. He's a necromancer and former assassin who has chilled out significantly in his old age (that being 125). He belongs to a really loose organization of witches who work together to make sure that magic stays a secret, because the alternative would be an absolute disaster. More specifically, his job has been to root out both threats to the magic community (ie witch hunters) and those who use magic to commit serious crimes (like murder). And then uh. Deal with them. He's died like eight times, this is just the one that stuck.

The first part is sort of the initial impression he likes to give people, which is that he's pretty nonchalant and doesn't really care much about anything. He also gives off "dumb ho" vibes, which are only partially true - he's actually quite intelligent in the instinct sense, but not the book smart sense. Once you get to know him, he's actually surprisingly selfless. He really cares a lot about the people he lets in, but emotions are scary and confusing.

I'd love to do more with the themes of "darkness" and "inner light" because those are always fun Kingdom Hearts themes.

Of course I want to deepen/strengthen the CR we already have budding with Naminé and Jason -- because it is pure and sweet and I love it very much -- but I would also love to see what could happen with Naminé and Maes.

Maes will be in the kidnapped group so that could be a start. He would also probably join in her very large 'Protect Naminé' group. He'll be dealing with some pretty intense hallucinations and gore -- but would definitely be able to ignore his own problems to comfort a sad or scared younger girl.

I kind of want him to do something more worthwhile than just read books? But since December was kind of rough on him, Quentin has been laying low for a while.

Quentin's personal journey in this game, will be him realizing that he is kind of special, just because he's a person and that's really enough? That he doesn't need to throw himself at every danger and risk his life, just to be special or worthwhile. So, anyone who might help with that will be loved.
