۵ SUMMARY: incredibly soft spoken blind lawyer that knows krav maga and exactly what you had for breakfast two days ago. matt used to be a vigilante back at home and has had no cause to do that here but that's gonna change soon w the kidnap event. he's got a big heart and means well but he's a huge liar and incredibly secretive for basically no reason but the fact it's instinct now. oh yeah he also really loves jesus.

found family. — matt is a sad orphan and he is drawn to fellow sad orphans, be they young and in need of fathering or just other sad lonely people. he hasn't .. . . . . ... .. actually admitted he's an orphan to anyone but Mary BUT HEY THAT'S STILL A DESIRE... EVEN THO HE DOESN'T SHARE THINGS. . . ..
padawans. — he's finally getting a bit more open w stuff he can do and i think the event is going to basically put it out there, so ofc that means he's going to be more able to teach other characters all the cool shit he can do. lots of different forms of martial arts but also "seeing" in the dark, which could be v helpful!!! if this is something your char might want to know and they'd like a more private format than the group self defense lessons, he's your man.
kidnap rescuers. — matt is staying behind and is going to go full daredevil to try and help get the kidnapped group back! anyone that wants to group up, he'll be game to help, and it could create some new connections, which would be awesome!
explore buddies. — second verse, same as the first. i am super spooked by the explores system and would love people to help me be braver abt it. so if you want ninja lawyer man w you . . . HMU!! i kinda would like him to go to snoop in the courthouse since he understands legal stuff BUT he'd need someone . .. . that can read. . . .. sob
