Jason has been slowly drifting towards the Winchesters so probably just needs something big to push things over...like this event maybe? He's still got mixed feelings about Camp Winchester, but I kinda like the rivalry going there so that could be fun. You can imagine he's probably going to at least start lurking in the back and trying not to make comments about monster fighting from his own experience.

Jason is also going to be a part of rescue group, so there's the easy potential for Dean to see Jason in action with all his wonderful demigod powers. He'll also likely be calling for everyone to organize/cooperate and sounding very much NOT like a 16 year old should -- because he has not had a normal 16-year-old life even before this place XD

I also have Maes, who is at least a little closer to Dean's age but it'll be harder to find an opening for them since Maes is getting kidnapped and hasn't expressed interest in camp.

but yes there is def potential during the event! dean's got a pretty solid group sorted out already but we could still have them run into each other in action 💪

ahh yes i for sure would love dean and hughes to have cr eventually!! esp considering hughes is close with cas and also. THEY CAN SHARE PICTURES OF THEIR KIDS no i will not let this go

Chaos fighting means there's all kinds of chances for random encounters, right? We can just play it by ear when the event goes up.
