Jason: He doesn't talk about his death much, but since he's in that weird camp of "I was a teenage hero who came across a prophecy that got me killed" I figure there might be something there? Also California bros? He spent most of his childhood and early teens on the west coast near San Francisco.

And that childhood was spent being trained in monster fighting so the monsters didn't eat him -- so if you want someone going off into the woods to combat monsters or try and play peace maker with the not-so-bad spirits then Jason is on board for that too. It's sort of his canon's entire thing. He's also been helping with the sparring/weapons training classes that Javert organized and is DEFINITELY more durable than most of the formal mortals. I hope we can continue to thread with them and grow their CR. :)

Maes: This is TECHNICALLY Maes's second death since he died before I app'd him into the LAST game, and then I brought him here with that CRAU established. So he had to die in the last game to come here. It took him about a year to come to terms with the fact that he was dead, though he still tended to deny that there wasn't a way to somehow make it back to his family. He also met with some cross canon CR that helped him process some of that and be more comfortable talking about it -- so he's always been kind of interested to learn how others deal with their own death.

He's also new and I am game for having him explore crazy places. He's especially good at investigations, clues, and solving puzzles so definitely a good addition to a fighty team that might overlook things like that.

I haven't introduced her to Maes yet and I will work on fixing that after the event since he's gonna be on team food coma.

Jason though...oh man I can't wait for us to be such badasses. I have a feeling Jason is going to be pushing himself too far too. Maybe they can be in recovery together |D Either way, I really look forward to continuing to nurture their CR and watch it grow because it's super cute and I love their friendship. ~~Jason also has a very different take on being a hero, so that could be interesting to present in contrast with Peter's superhero lessons XD).~~

god he'd like either one, but Eleven is a kid who can take care of herself and would be impressed by him and that is definitely something that will appeal.

On the flip side, Maes also needs CR with Castiel but I'm still getting a feel for what Maes is doing in game besides reading all the information right now.

Perfect! She's been training in combat with all kinds of weapons since she was, like, seven, so she's no newbie at least.

Well, his BFF had a automaton dragon that literally saved him and his friends countless times so I would say Jason probably has a soft spot for some dragons.

No, but thank you for putting up with him and laughing. I want so much more too. Sexual jokes will always be a thing he throws out at random, but especially during the event, he won't be chasing her tail skirts. There is a time and place for inappropriate flirting, okay.

۵ SUMMARY: Elle is the Harbinger of the End, the Antichrist, etc, half eldritch creature and half-human (but looks fully human, if much younger than she actually is). But she hates and feels guilty about this fact. She grew up with an adopted father who owns a security company, its side project being collecting nonhuman misfits like herself. Elle often led expeditions into the unknown to try and discover if other legends were true, having about an 80% success rate. Her office at home is full to the brim with cryptid research. ۵ DESIRED CR: It's unhelpful to say "everything," I know, but that's the truth. Even if Elle is awkward at times, she does love people and interacting with them. I'd love for her to have more buddies to nerd out with (she loves learning about many different subjects, as well), people who can maybe be confidants for all of this ending-the-world guilt she's harboured all of her life, and friends. She hasn't had the opportunity for many friends in her life. That would be good for her.
۵ UNDESIRED CR: Honestly, I don't even know yet. I'm open to anything and everything for Elle.
۵ PLANS: Elle will be a Defender during the Sandman event and will fight tooth and claw after dragging her roomie, Castiel's, body to the Invincible for safekeeping. If you'd like your back watched by the Antichrist, who is a supernaturally tough cookie, lemme know.

there are a few things that peter tends not to talk about unless ... super prompted, but HONESTLY i kind of want peter and buffy to bond at some point about ~responsibility and ~saving people. I DON'T KNOW how that would come about, but i want it. and just bond in general tbh.

i really like elle and kol! i don't know what they can become (hopefully buddies) but kol's a nerd about supernatural things like magic and spirits and can be quite fun to be around. he's a very old vampire pretending not to be a vampire, so he probably has a few things he could teach her depending on what she's interested in learning.

and he values booze >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> getting people off a ferry. i feel like she might appreciate those priorities based on my first impression of her.

I'd love to have another thread with Elena, these two looked like they could get along pretty well, if their run-in at the ferry was any indicator.

They do sound similar! ~~Momming/dadding~~ Taking care of their superiors and basically being "the glasses guy that knows a lot" so yes! They should really run into each other after event!

If Kol is a nerd about the supernatural, then he and Elle definitely have at least one thing in common. c: Their thread was super fun! Elle's friendly, just awkward because she's mostly been isolated from other people because of what she is. She'd love to learn anything and everything she can!

HONESTLY misty seems great and i'm sad i haven't thrown peter at her yet, so i need to ... do that soon because she seems adorable.

۵ SUMMARY: I make a lot of Anakin Skywalker jokes, but really M.K. is like if Chuck Norris and the Hulk had a baby and that unfortunate love child was the kung fu hustle edition of Kylo Ren, right down to the moral conflict with darkness. He died thinking he deserves a hell just like this one so he honestly thinks this is all just karma coming back to bite him.

۵ LINKS: Character info. For the curious, this is a pretty good crash course for dark ones in his canon. Otherwise, he's on the defender side of things for the event and I have his plotting comment up for that here!
۵ DESIRED CR: Oh gosh, can I choose all of it? M.K. needs to rub elbows with more people and stop pretending he isn't an extrovert who craves a social circle.

• Friends? Enemies? Frenemies? Drinking buddies?? People who want to try and recruit him back onto Team Sorta Good Guy??? He's easily swayed by people he gets close to and they're the deciding factor in influencing where he throws his weight in-game. In the beginning he mostly ~~was having a breakdown~~ kept to himself, but he's been slooowly warming up to people in increments as time passes...

• Let him teach you martial arts, you won't regret it. :3

• EXPLORING BUDDIES. He makes a habit of wandering off the beaten path so if your character needs a vehicle to get involved, we can make that happen!

• Someone should call him out on the fact he only looks at the library books with pictures because he's "too busy" to learn to read properly. #feralchildproblems

۵ PLANS: M.K.'s roommate disappeared so I'm interested in exploring what comes out of him feeling a bit more isolated/alone in the game. The event is only going to exacerbate his bad feels, since although he'll help dreamers and other defenders, M.K. isn't putting much stock in his life and will be jumping into fights like a demonic kamikaze wrecking ball. There's a good chance he might push his luck too far with the spirits this time.

THIS MONTH we shall make it happen somehow!! tbh peter’s still not really ... admitting to the whole spider-man thing and he spends less time in the suit than he would do if like, there were more constant threats on beacon. WHICH IS LIKE the long way of saying that jason would probably ping the ~superhero part of peter but he wouldn’t mention a whole lot about it except vaguely and in a ‘i know a guy’ sense.

BUT YEAH EITHER WAY i am here for it. was there something you’d like to thread out with peter by the way? because i absolutely don’t mind setting something up pre-sandman event, or we can plan something out for after the event?

He's strived to become someone who everyone wants around so that eventually somebody would want him around. He's got a lot of things going on, but there's a lot of spoilers involved. Despite never getting close to anyone, he also likes food (most obvious pancakes) and hates spicy stuff. He also secretly has a food blog, but he seems to be a bit shy about that.

۵ PLANS: Akechi doesn't have anything plans besides what to do after death. I would love to explore what would happen once Akechi starts to figure out how he wants to live his own life. He's going to hide behind his usual facade, but I think it's a good opportunity for him to learn more about what he wants.

۵ ANYTHING ELSE? With Royal out in Japan and a 2020 release date, I'm trying my best to avoid any Royal spoilers. I would love it if people could avoid talking about it around me if at all possible. So far it hasn't been an issue, but you never know.

i have some real questions about the last lawyer javert met, if matt is more competent, BUT HEY. they sort of have similar mindsets, in that the law is important, except matt will go outside the law and punch people if he has to. it'll be a weird conversation if they ever get there.

sweet, that's perfect! he wants to do more but not be obvious about it, so glomming onto a patrol routine w Javert would be a perfect opportunity!

we gotta make that happen. she'd be so delighted by him.

Also if you ever want to give Molly a challenge, have him flirt at Cas. 'cause that's gotta lead to either great amusement or great frustration for our poor tiefling.

Eleven is still wearing the cone. Also they should meet as Defenders and power up together.

I love it. Cas definitely likes being proactive rather than reactive.
