As always, it's been incredible to see just how much everyone has been willing to reach out to one another both in and out of character, and with a wide variety of new players (and new characters from old players) having joined us recently, there's sure to be a lot to talk about! ۵ TAGGING STYLE: EST, a mild lean toward prose that's only to do with my hating to type out the smalltext, uhhhhh ideally I try to hit everything once daily but this month I started the job I thought I was starting last month, so I hit a bit of an awkward lull. :/ Nothing permanent, but I'm not lightning at the moment.
۵ ABOUT: Perpetually unable to summon anything particularly interesting in time to answer this question, sad to say.
۵ NAME: Misty Day
۵ CANON: AHS: Coven
۵ SUMMARY: Cajun witch who was more or less entirely self-taught after being torched alive and resurrecting herself out of nowhere. Empathetic, can literally snuff out if you've been naughty or nice like a divine bloodhound, this is her fourth death and between that and her life as a whole she's sitting on a lot of hastily ignored trauma. Feral optimist. Doesn't trust the town at large worth a damn. Weird spectrum of being willing to go absurdly out of her way to help someone she deems deserving and just as willing to literally murder you painfully if you have it coming. Has skirted around talking about herself even with the tiny handful of people she actually interacts with often so far, she's psyched. Hiding powers, though the Sandman event will blow that.

۵ LINKS: No relevant toplevels, but her permissions have some questions at the bottom that kind of....hugely hugely inform how she'll react to/interact with your character, so it's worth looking at.
۵ DESIRED CR: LITERALLY EVERYTHING. Misty only consistently talks to like three people and that's too few! More connections needed for proper foundation; give friends, give basically-just-good-coworkers, people to bond with over learning x thing or liking y thing, ship, help her make the Rat King accept her friendship, I want Things.
۵ UNDESIRED CR: No hard outright enemies as of yet. She already has her most disliked person and honestly getting to that point puts her in.....dangerously proactive mindsets.
۵ PLANS: She gardens and keeps to herself, mostly? There might be a brief excursion with Matt in the near future, but beyond that she....isn't up to much, unfortunately. Current event means a lot of nyooming around and, you know, spirit fighting.. We need plans!

We need to get her to know more details about his past so she can understand where he's coming from better, cuz I feel like the poor gal is running blind, since he's only let slip tiny details and she's been so careful to accept rather than ask. She needs to like. Ask him stuff.

She's in kind of a weird bind optimism-wise where in the grandest scheme of things she's like 95% sure they're all doomed and just trying to make this last year or two comfortable for people, but that's mostly that she has had a Real Bad Couple Of Years. But in the meantime! Maybe there'll be one or two more interesting people around Beacon to chatter at
I haven't hit peak cr potential for this game until Misty has a mutual 'a-HAH you LIAR' moment with every single other person playing coy like this, that's it that's the dream

honestly tho: samesies. peter's not optimistic in the sense that he thinks everything's going to work out, he's optimistic in the sense that he has to hope things are going to work out for the best one way or the other, because the alternative fucking sucks. (which actually isn't specific to beacon, just ... generally speaking. outside of the banter and the terrible jokes, he's actually pretty prone to being ridiculously morose unless he's got people to pull him out of it.)
