Hello everyone and welcome to the game's third CR Meme! As always, it's been incredible to see just how much everyone has been willing to reach out to one another both in and out of character, and with a wide variety of new players (and new characters from old players) having joined us recently, there's sure to be a lot to talk about! ۵ NAME: Buffy Summers
۵ CANON: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
۵ SUMMARY: Who is Buffy Summers? She's a California Girl turned Vampire Slayer who died and saved the world a lot. She has a Chosen One complex and is used to having the weight of the world on her shoulders... so being in Beacon is actually kind of like a vacation. Minus the fun in the sun.

۵ DESIRED CR:
— Scooby Gang 2.0: The Slayer might walk alone but Buffy is nothing without her friends. She needs them to have her back, to see her as more than just a tool to fight back the darkness, and to give her a reason to keep fighting.
— Hey I Died Twice: Anyone else want to talk about the whole We Died thing? Because she's on her 4th Death and she's got a lot of perspective on things. She was even pulled out of her final rest in Heaven and went through some bad depression afterward, so she has things to say about their present situation.
— Bad Decision Pals: Who wants to venture into the forest and poke a sleeping monster? Try to wade the river? Go exploring again and again despite that whole death issue? They're not going to get answers if they don't break a few Beacon Bits.
— Training Partners: Sparring partners (any superstrong folks, yes please), people to put her through her paces, etc.
۵ UNDESIRED CR: Super antagonist/negative CR is the only thing I'm not into right now, but we can absolutely do more mild levels and work up to the big stuff.
۵ PLANS: Buffy is presently settling in after having arrived this month with her trusty scythe. Some stuff I'd love to explore with her:
— Investigating Beacon: Buffy's used to getting her investigation on and Beacon is more of the usual weirdness for her, just less Hellmouthy, more Interdimensional Afterlifey. Especially after being part of the Dream Team at the Lighthouse, she's going to be very interested in what the heck is going on here. Who else is getting their research on? Scoobies 2.0, assemble!
— Exploring: There are monsters in the woods? Cool, let's go find them, and find all the other hidden parts of Beacon. Who else wants to be dumb and get killed a lot?

And that childhood was spent being trained in monster fighting so the monsters didn't eat him -- so if you want someone going off into the woods to combat monsters or try and play peace maker with the not-so-bad spirits then Jason is on board for that too. It's sort of his canon's entire thing. He's also been helping with the sparring/weapons training classes that Javert organized and is DEFINITELY more durable than most of the formal mortals. I hope we can continue to thread with them and grow their CR. :)
Maes: This is TECHNICALLY Maes's second death since he died before I app'd him into the LAST game, and then I brought him here with that CRAU established. So he had to die in the last game to come here. It took him about a year to come to terms with the fact that he was dead, though he still tended to deny that there wasn't a way to somehow make it back to his family. He also met with some cross canon CR that helped him process some of that and be more comfortable talking about it -- so he's always been kind of interested to learn how others deal with their own death.
He's also new and I am game for having him explore crazy places. He's especially good at investigations, clues, and solving puzzles so definitely a good addition to a fighty team that might overlook things like that.

there are a few things that peter tends not to talk about unless ... super prompted, but HONESTLY i kind of want peter and buffy to bond at some point about ~responsibility and ~saving people. I DON'T KNOW how that would come about, but i want it. and just bond in general tbh.

This is also his fourth death! YAAAY bonding. ANd they need more heaven talk
BAD DECISION PALS you know what, he is so GOOD at bad decisions, and he's gonna be so HERE for all your exploration needs. Cas wants to figure this place out and if that means he's gotta fling himself at more death and danger, he's WAY too happy to do that.
Also sparring. He's good with a blade (pls don't stab him with it, he WILL die), and he's super strong, so he can definitely help out there.
Basically can I hog all your time all the time please and thank you.
