i really like elle and kol! i don't know what they can become (hopefully buddies) but kol's a nerd about supernatural things like magic and spirits and can be quite fun to be around. he's a very old vampire pretending not to be a vampire, so he probably has a few things he could teach her depending on what she's interested in learning.
