۵ SUMMARY: You can find a bit more detail on the NPC page but a kindhearted bunny that is a former member and only survivor of the night market. she recently surfaced and is living at the docks in a submarine! She is very concerned about workplace safety and HATES PRANKS. NO PRANKS!!!

۵ PLANS: Weaver is mostly interested in restoring functionality to the Helix Station to continue the work of the Night Market, even though she's the only one left and there isn't really a Night Market anymore. She's great with robotics, technology, and portals, and can be contracted to repair things, create apps, or create robotic items for characters. However she will charge for her services, in hopes of getting help to repair the Helix Station. Additionally, as she has the only access to a sub on the surface, she will need to be a ferry of sorts to any characters going below for explores.

۵ SUMMARY: Did you know that you can take a major character, give him a tragic backstory, and then insert a tragic character into that tragic backstory who has a tragic backstory of his own? Well, that's Rosinante. Tragedy: the guy. Anyway, he doesn't talk much about himself here (still) despite having been here a full year now. He's just over 9 and a half feet tall, clumsy, has a serious cigarette addiction, enjoys makeup and guns and vegetables, and is always ready to go off on expeditions to dangerous places. He lives in The Invincible with Mary and Law, helps out around Solis' lab with item requests, keeps documenting the stars in the sky going dark, and lives in eternal fear that green-eyes will eventually share too much of his past with other people.

۵ DESIRED CR: Anyone interested in exploring, looking at the big picture and how to deal with the World Eater issue, and anyone who misses the ocean are all people he'll likely find things in common with. He enjoys hearing stories about other people's worlds and may tell a few of his own (which will likely be fictional). He's good at being surface-level friendly while withholding a lot, so while I do love deep CR connections, know that it can take months, if not longer, for him to consider someone a friend.

Also know that now Law is here, he's very unlikely to be away from him for long, so if you get to know one you'll probably get to know the other soon.

۵ PLANS: I've still got two explore tokens this month and Rosi can't sit still, so it's likely they'll both get used. He's going to spend some time looking for rail tracks as he's heard someone found some at one point, and he's hoping they're minecart rails that will lead to the mines so he can see if the Wild Hunt survived the flood at all. So he'd like to go looking for them, and then that leaves one explore I haven't decided on yet, though it might be poking around in the tunnels under Beacon to see where some of the routes go. If you want in on these things or something else, let me know!

He also has a long-term plan of fixing up that rusted-out boat hull in the scrapyard, mostly just for something to do. Sailing is super dangerous, he's learned that firsthand, so this is really just a project for the sake of having a project and converting it to a sailboat that will probably just get parked in the harbor. Boy's gotta have his fun somehow, I guess. If anyone is handy with construction, sewing, knots, or other shipwright sorts of trades, he'd genuinely appreciate the help.

۵ SUMMARY: A quiet but sociable former assassin working through various trauma issues. They don't quite consider themselves a person (they're closer than ever, though) and react with fear to their original name (but we're working on that, too). Loves cooking, origami, music, and protecting people.

۵ DESIRED CR: Anything and everything tbh. Soldat is a people-watcher and enjoys just hanging around people, even if they're not necessarily interacting. They get along okay with most people, so long as they don't mind being bullied into looking after themselves or letting Soldat look after them. And I'm game for people not getting along with them, too.
۵ UNDESIRED CR: Romance, for now. Anyone looking to actively harm them.
۵ PLANS: They have a rigid daily routine which is slightly out of date, I need to update it with the radio tower visits. Currently on the Helix Station trip and feeding everybody there. When they all get back, they're gonna suggest classes/lessons/something to get more people speaking the spirit language. There's plans to go looking for the Wild Hunt and also maybe the power station? Their big concern is why the World Eaters came here to begin with, because "they followed Solis because they caught her spying" doesn't make sense to them, and also how to maybe make the portal shunt World Eaters into a dead dimension where they can't hurt anybody.

۵ SUMMARY: A grouchy but warm-hearted old man who is also a dragon sometimes. Technically the species is called Raksura, but everybody here just calls him a dragon so he's kinda given up and accepted it. Very fond of food and people in general, with a tendency to adopt them if they manage to catch enough of his atteniton. Did we mention he's very old?

۵ SUMMARY: Loser musician from 1960s London who roughly six years ago hopped into a time-and-space traveling police box with an alien. He tries to act like he gives no fucks but he cares So Much. Somewhere around six foot three, skinny, has shaggy dark hair, a long nose, and wide gray eyes, doesn't shave often and described in canon as looking like someone you wouldn't want to share a taxi with. But he is a decent bloke, if you can tolerate his smoking habit. Lives at the Invincible, has been in Beacon since April. Died as a result of a nasty accident involving a grenade in a Siberian ice cave which had some velociraptors in it in 1894. As You Do. He is made of tropes.

He can act like a silly puppy at times to distract anyone from noticing that he's suffering or to keep them from knowing him too well. He takes his warrior life very seriously so he can flip from "silly" to "murder" very quickly. Currently, he's riled up and confused about his destiny and drunk on his own power. A volatile mixture of self loathing about himself as a person and overweening pride in his power and importance is slowly driving him to the point of insanity (not helped by the Lantern event!). He will have to confront this inner darkness and mental turmoil eventually. I'm sure it will be fine.

۵ SUMMARY: A messiah turned bitter, ancient queen made of darkness and decay. Ardyn is cunning, manipulative and cloyingly polite when he's not making daemons and snacking on the light of worlds. He's not a good person but feels like he needs to somehow help Beacon just to prove that he, a world eater, can stand against other world eaters despite the prophecy he's usually a slave to.

CHARACTER INFORMATION

♡ SUMMARY: Oh boy. Every time I try to come up with a tl;dr I feel like I'm staring down a tunnel. On the surface, she's a constantly sweet and kind darling of a girl, all helpfulness and genuine interest. She's a perfect yamato nadeshiko with a little bit of playfulness and the occasional harmless flirt. She's so good at this act that literally everyone in her home country, and canonically even incredibly suspicious and distrustful people, believe this is the real her. Underneath, she's a traumatized hateful misanthrope, all wide-eyed laughing mockery and vicious cruelty who delights in fooling people and wrapping boys around her little finger. Thiiiiis still isn't the real her; it's a front put on with her family to make herself seem confident and useful: her family is the head of an enormous fleet of pirates; most of them are full-on evil and greedy with a side of being pretend-helpful and charismatic to the people who live on her home archipelago, benevolent dictatorship style. She fooled herself into thinking this was the real her until someone in her canon (Sanji, you good boy) helped her realize she didn't have to be a monster to protect herself.

In Beacon, she's ??? learning how to person??? Maybe people really can be genuine and actually like her even if she isn't a sweetheart?? Maybe she doesn't have to push away and hate everyone internally to protect herself???? Is this real??????? She's bad at it and still defaults to delicate angel, but she's trying!! She's also genuinely working on being helpful in a fake it 'til you make it kind of way, maybe she can actually learn how to be good and nice? Instead of constantly cataloguing how everyone can be useful to her. It's a process.

She also keeps her third eye constantly hidden under her bangs, because her main source of trauma as a child was everyone she met - including her own mother - calling it creepy. This in a canon with fish-people and merfolk and animal-people, and tribes of humans with snake necks or arms with extra joints or two-story-long legs, and people with weird powers including turning into fire or being made out of rubber or food. The third eye is creepy. OOCly I think that's as dumb as you do. And yet, literally everyone called it creepy, to the point where revealing her third eye to a boy she's gotten close to, in a moment of tenderness, is a consistent planning point she uses to startle them into letting down their guard so she can dispatch of them on her psycho mother's orders. (If there's a backstory on why Three-Eyes are horrifying we haven't gotten it yet.) I. It's a lot. She's a lot.

Also she can edit people's memories, because everyone in OP is OP. Please do let me know if you want to opt out of that! She's trying to be better than just ripping memories out of people's heads whenever she embarrasses herself, but she's done it once already.

♡ PLANS: Pudding cooks breakfast every morning at The Invincible around 5am, and often hangs around to help Soldat cook lunch. She's doing a lot of experimentation with the weird Beacon plantlife, building a "menu" of rations to have ready for everyone for explores (including potions!), and keeping inventory of the stock in the inn. I don't currently have non-food-related explicit plans for her other than generally continuing her character arc. Challenge her beliefs! Shake her up! Give her a reason to act like a kid, to get mad, to make hard decisions, I'm game for anything!

She's great at firearms, quick on her feet, and is a master of unlocking things. She's slow to trust right now because shit sucks but is always willing to step up and help team efforts. Once you have her loyalty and trust, she's always reliable and ready to help. She's confident and puts herself in a lot of danger for others, though it's less self-sacrificing and more about just being willing (and able) to get the job done.

I'm more interested in just using the trust piece to launch her into getting involved and treating people here like they're Her People. It won't take a whole lot given the nature of the setting and her willingness to believe everyone's here to try to fix things and survive, but it's something that'll take a bit of effort and time.

Otherwise, people to get her to fucking lighten up a little would be good. She has a sense of humor and can joke around a little, but when things are doom and gloom it comes across as more sarcastic than anything else. I'm open to literally everything else but those are the most specific pieces.

She got the sweet one well away from their asshole trifecta father, and grew up pretending to still be an emotionless asshole. When she met up with the sweet brother again in the course of a whole mess of nonsense that involved her kingdom/mercenary band/thing trying to ally with a powerful pirate emperor via arranged marriage, she got to show a little of that soft side where no one can see.

Also, she's got nifty magic powers that come with the downside of sinking like a rock in the water. Which is fantastic when the world you come from is approximately 95% ocean.

Girl's cruising for an explosion within the next little while if she can't find some way to release a little of the tension she's building up... which could be its own very interesting turn of events, if things trend that way.
