As always, it's been incredible to see just how much everyone has been willing to reach out to one another both in and out of character, but with a wide variety of new players having joined us recently, there's sure to be a lot to talk about! ۵ SUMMARY: TO GIVE A BASIC SUMMARY: Jay is a try-hard, edgy asshole. He very much believes in killing bad guys, though he's made a hard turn to come around to second chances and rehabilitation. Especially since he was given a second chance.

However, he keeps literally everyone at an arms length.

And he's 100% willing to sacrifice... uuhhh basically himself and anything that makes him happy to get his goals. Please see: the fact that he just gave up his most important memory and how he basically never defends himself when people call him shady.

۵ DESIRED CR: I really want good friend CR for Jason. I know it's hard because he keeps himself at arms' length from everyone, but I want people who can see past his bullshit.

Negative CR is also 100% expected and welcomed. Jay is an abrasive boy, and he's not afraid to tell people where they can shove things, and he's prone to making his point in as insulting a way as possible. This is the easier type of CR to get, honestly.

۵ PLANS: Plan right now is for Jay to be 1) an even bigger asshole to Bruce for no goddamned reason. 2) Really throw himself into "working the case." He's trained as a detective, and so solving the puzzle is really what drives him.

Bonus things I hope for one day: Cast doubt on whether or not he's a good person, accuse him of being a failure. These are huge trigger buttons for him, and Jay isn't the most stable person in the world after his pretty tragic life. If negative CR can do that, I'll be happy. I'll just want friendly CR that can pull him back from the edge.

۵ SUMMARY: Crowley is a 6000+ year old demon put on Earth to usually cause trouble. He does this by making general mischief, inventing terrible things (like Twitter, Manchester, selfies, etc.) and being slothy and drinking lots and lots of wine. His notable achievements include sinking the Titanic by complete accident, misplacing the antichrist, and befriending a local angel who was supposed to be doing lots of good around the place.

۵ DESIRED CR: Positive and negative CR. This is my first time really taking Crowley out in a cross-canon world, and I'd like to see what he can and cannot do with people. Since he's generally stubborn, slothy, and a cranky old bitch, he can be a lot of fun to play against whether or not your character will like or dislike him.
۵ UNDESIRED CR: Not up for romances, thanks. Definitely OK with mutual attraction and the like, but Crowley's in a committed pining relationship.
۵ PLANS: Crowley has his big stealing the ferry plot coming up on October 1st, and I'd love to have him meet people there---they can love him or hate him for it, I'm 100% OK with either. He's also working on building a greenhouse, and will be involved in some exploration.

As time goes on, I'd like to see him with other chaotic characters causing general havoc around the town in an effort to escape. I'd love to eventually get him some equally chaotic friends who can have fun causing trouble. (Aziraphale unlikely to approve).

۵ SUMMARY: Cajun witch whose first-discovered, hot-ticket ability is resurrecting things, which promptly gets her burned stakeside in the dead of night very shortly after first using it. She builds herself a house and plants a garden and kills months largely isolated and not at all into it, meets other witches who get her killed two more times (the latter sending her off to hell for a few years - also fun, in that it was completely preventable and happened during tests to find the new Witch QueenTM, a position Misty explicitly specifies she doesn't want within seconds of learning it exists), eventually gets pulled out of hell by the antichrist, then he nukes the planet like a few weeks later and here she is! She's resilient, kind, optimistic on a macro scale but highly distrustful of individuals and communities, good cook, great gardener, passionate healer type, actually down to fight literally anyone if it's for a greater good. Loves classic rock and statistically speaking knows more about it than you. Needs a break.

People she can trust she'll work productively with, garden folks, MUSIC FOLKS, Other Undead People to commiserate with (because wow does it fuck you up!), other magic users to try and silently learn from, friend-types, slow burn ship eyes, everyone's crosscanon but still I'll specify crosscanon is my JAM, I'm really not too picky! She needs the contact, and given her 'how about no'-ness about other larger groups I think her primary incentive to involve herself much - at least to start - will be other people she decides she likes. I'd also like to note that intro-type/meeting threads can get kind of samey, so please do feel 100% free to assume or handwave enough familiarity to bypass that at any point.

۵ SUMMARY: Main Character's Best Friend, after a brief and embarrassing period being The Bad Guy (and possessed by The Big Bad, or at least a version of him), spends a lot of time being that one dude trying to do the group project by himself, if the group project was keeping his best friend alive.

Ok but really, he's a thoughtful, fairly reserved young man who ate major humble pie while learning to reconcile the light and dark parts of himself. Is actually really good at a bunch of things, including swinging a giant car key around while saving the world. Loves his friends more than anything. Is pretty badass about it, too - this isn't even the first time he's died for them.

He's been here since the "beginning" (this reset) and lost literally all of his most important people, one of whom is out on a quest with some forest spirits. Riku promised to do everything he could to survive so he can be the light that guides his best friend back here again.

۵ PLANS: He started out this month informing newcomers about stuff, then after the floating lanterns mini event, he set out on an expedition east with about 11 people. During the Capture the Flag game he probably messed with the teams a bit to make things more interesting/frustrating. Most of his work this month has been around getting the newcomers up to speed and getting a handle on some information he's not willing to spread around just yet. But soon.

He settled down in London, opened up a bookshop, and helped to thwart the Apocalypse. He was killed for it, and now lives with his sneaky snek and their trash panda soldier in a cabin. He has been trying to talk to the spirits, and learn their language. He is also currently trying to rebuild the church. At the beginning of October he will be roped into stealing the ferry.

He is also going on the expedition w/Riku and co, and will be inadvertently stealing the ferry with Crowley and Bucky. He will not be doing any stealing bits, only offering cake to the passengers to calm them down bits.

The traits most visible to others at the moment are protectiveness (or rather, over-protectiveness), vigilance (or rather, hypervigilance), and lots of careful observation. Internally, he's basically scared all the time and looking for people to give him things to do when he's not obsessively patrolling around the village.

For an instant CR-in, he can always think he recognizes people from his days with HYDRA, and he instinctively follows orders right now so if you tell him to do something, that makes for another instant CR-in.
۵ UNDESIRED CR: The only thing I'm not interested in for him is romance, at this point. He's too messed up right now for that sort of thing.
۵ PLANS: He's on a major exploration thing with a handful of people right before the scavenger hunt starts, he's being roped into Misty's attempts at gardening/farming eventually, and I did throw him at Javert in the hopes that he can convince the Inspector to let him help train people in self-defense. He has served 12 years in the Roman Legion based out of Camp Jupiter, including at least 1 year as the camp's Praetor. This time served is indicated by a tattoo on his forearm that has 12 tally marks under an eagle and the letters 'SPQR'. He also briefly spent time as a head counselor at Camp Half-Blood -- the Greek version of Camp Jupiter.

Jason takes most strangeness in stride, as his entire life has been spent among gods, monsters, and magic. He recently completed a quest that involved reuniting the two camps mentioned previously along with defeating several giants, monsters, and one earth goddess. He wants nothing more than to ensure the continued cooperation and friendship between the newly reunited camps. Jason wound up here because he couldn't stop himself from helping despite the warnings of a prophecy. ۵ DESIRED CR: Jason is new enough that I want it all, which I know is not helpful but seriously the CR I have been gathering so far is just SO FUN. Bring me people to make friends with, people to be frustrated at, people to "adopt" Jason because he doesn't understand this concept of not being the most mature person around. All of it.

2. Explore, Explore, Explore: He's a flier and can cover more ground, though he knows his powers are...different here. 3. Helping rebuild the church and possibly other places around town. No sense letting all his architecture studies go to waste in death...

Kol's the Original Vampire who has a reputation of being incredibly dangerous—all because he enjoys having fun (and sometimes that involves killing people). Because of his time spent in two death realms and his time in a witch's body, Kol's calmed down (a little) and trying to… be normal.

tl;dr Kol's fun, reckless, entertaining, a prankster, dangerous, lover of games and fun, and someone you don't want to piss off. He has experience being dead and trapped in two different realms, similar but lamer than Beacon. Kol is... pretty much that gif at the top of this post, both the words and the dialogue.

• FRIENDS—Kol severely lacks in them, but he is pretty easy to get along with and probably like. He hasn't had friends to really have as his own because he's been too busy doing as his mum says and as his dickhead older brothers demand. He's the type of friend who would get into trouble and egg you on in doing the thing you wanted to do but you're too scared to do.
  
• MAGICAL PEEPS—Kol used to be a witch and despite his vampire status, he still enjoys learning and witnessing magic. He can teach a few spells (although they most likely won't be related to your canon…) and can be a better Dumbledore to your Harry Potter than Dumbledore ever was.
  
• PEEPS TO TRAIN—He's a Viking and his crazy ass evil dad was shown to teach Viking-style combat. He'd be pretty tough and make it super hard, but he'd at least pass down some training info on how to survive and stand up for yourself via using the environment around you. It'll also keep him busy and possibly his mind off any blood cravings/violent urges.
  
• PEEPS TO FEED FROM—To start on my plot (more below), maybe some more people for him to feed from? Either willingly or unwillingly (he can pretty much mind control your character to forget)—Kol isn't exactly being forthcoming about being a vampire at this moment as he has been rightly hated by the people of his own canon and kind of wants to be someone else right now #identitycrisis.
  
• PEEPS TO EXPLORE WITH—He's going to start getting into the nitty gritty of this place as he does want to go back to the land of the living. It'll also help curb his cravings by staying busy.

I am working towards doing a plot where Kol loses control on his bloodlust. Before he was brought here, his soul was hexed by the dead witches of New Orleans to pretty much experience incredibly heightened bloodlust to an uncomfortable level. He eventually kills Davina Claire because of it (and that was pretty much what he was expected to do). - Friends! Daylight is a social creature and is eager to make friends. He'll be more than happy to reach out to new faces since he's a big believer of sticking together. - Art buddies! He has an artistic side, favouring writing poetry and sketching, but he doesn't feel like that's 'useful' compared to being able to fight. ۵ SUMMARY: On the meta side, Will is the NPC that you can go to for information about the setting, the tablets/network, or really anything technology related. He also makes apps! And is unfortunately kind of a dick. Sorry.

Off the meta side, Will is from The Future and Outer Space. His home universe is over a thousand years ahead of modern Earth, which he's actually never even been to. As a result, he can basically do whatever he wants with Beacon's comparatively archaic technology. Back home he worked as a terraformer, making uninhabitable planets safe for colonization, but his fields of expertise extend beyond that into geology, biology, and other related stuff. There's a full write-up of him here!

Also now that this has come out ICly, I can explain a lot about him by saying that he has been through not one, not two, but THREE situations where everyone around him collectively lost their shit and decided to murder each other.
