Hey folks! It has been such a pleasure and such an honor to be able to see this story through to the end with all of you. I know I thank you all every post these days, but I'll do it one last time - huge, huge warm thank you to everyone who stuck through every moment, from In the Night to The Next Night and now beyond. The game and its setting now belong to every one of you, to continue in as you wish.

Below, feel free to toplevel with any final thoughts - on the game and its story as a whole, or on what your character(s) will be up to now that the World Eater is no longer a threat. And then if you like, reply to each other love meme style - tell each other what you liked about RPing together, make plans for future threads here, or elsewhere around DWRP! From start to finish this game has fostered such a strong sense of community, and I know we've all appreciated that.

Link is going home to resume his duties as the Hero Chosen By The Gods. Ardyn is sticking around for a while to watch over the world and look after the portal.

I never got super involved in things as the pandemic was in full swing and hit my energy hard but I really enjoyed my time here. Thank you all for sticking around to play out the ending story of one of the best settings I've ever RPed in.

I really hope to RP with you all again someday. For now I am a very new player at Isle of Avalon where I....again play a light-infused sword hero chosen by the gods and a monster dude in a fedora. IDK how that happened either.

If I don't see you there rest assured I will see you somewhere. I will be watching.

Good luck back home, Link! Your world needs you! Rosi, meanwhile, is grateful for whatever help Ardyn wants to give. Having someone dedicated to keeping an eye on things is a blessing.

I really appreciated having you around in game! You say you weren't super involved and yet you were in explores, your guys both got involved in the plot and events regularly, and it was always a treat to get to thread with you. Best of luck in Avalon and elsewhere!

Rosi here will be sticking around for a while - and so will I! His long-term goal is to make sure Beacon is established as a safe base of operations for whatever the future brings, and he's hoping his future will mostly center around finding some way to warn other worlds about the World Eaters, which still exist somewhere out there in the night sky. That might mean sending messages through the portal, or it might mean trips out to other worlds and back - he's not-so-secretly hoping he'll get to see some other places some day. But Beacon has become enough of a home for him where he's glad to base himself there.

If we have threads we didn't finish and you still want to tag them, if you have new threads you want to start in this post-World Eater world, just let me know! I am super down to just keep going even without mod events. I have lots and lots of ideas.

He'll also probably end up in another game in the next month or two, but he won't be CRAU - he's so content here with bff Law and boyfriend Will and I don't have the heart to tear him away from that. So I'm excited to see what new developments will be in store for him!

I love this game and I will always love this game. ITN broke my role-play rut, gave me a new place to try out a new character, and gave me a new rp home game for a long time. I'm so glad we were able to see it through, and for the friendships I made her.

So endgame! Soldat is never leaving Beacon again? (Except they are in a CRAU cuz I already have them in another game.) But THIS ONE is never leaving unless somehow they have to. This is their home. They will rebuild the goddamn world one farm and town and maybe-imported person at a time, them and Misty and whoever else stays behind.

Stone is going to go off and explore said world. He's taking some supplies and going for a nice, long flight to do some mapping and take some pictures. Eventually, when he's done with that (or bored with that, or lonely, whatever) he's going to take the portal to somewhere completely new, him and his dead mirror buddy.

I'm still so impressed you took such a big risk with Soldat, and so glad ITN was such a great fit. You've been such a solid presence in this game and it was fascinating to watch Soldat's and Rosi's relationship evolve as they both grew here.

Good luck out there, Stone! I know you're not looking to RP with him really at this point but if you ever want to brainstorm some ideas about things he might have found I'm totally here for that. And you bet we're going to keep having threads with Soldat and Rosi! God, it has been so long since Rosi was around animals and he has such a soft spot for them. He's getting goats. Nobody can tell him not to. They're going to eat everything and be trouble and he will love them.

I love everyone in this murder forest. Thanks for dealing with this noble curmudgeon and letting me play the most serious character from the most ridiculous canon of all time in the most dramatic setting possible. All my CR was amazing and I hope we all get to RP together in the future.

Kuai will stay here for a while to help get everything in order. And to make sure the spirits are okay because he's sorta fond of them.

But eventually he'll head back home. Sure he's dead but that means he goes back to the Netherrealm, and I don't have the heart to separate him from Hanzo for eternity. It's not like he'll stay dead, being Mortal Kombat and all.

But I'll be finishing up all my threads I have going now and maybe a few more before he heads home for a tea date that's been years in the making.

Man I'm so glad we both got to be here for the whole thing! Thank you so, so much for sticking around even through monumental amounts of work stress and 2020 stress and 2020 part two: the forever year stress.

Kuai better tell Rosi before he leaves for anywhere! Rosi will miss him so very, very much. He's gone from Grandmaster to friend and Rosi 100% ships it so come say goodbye and then go have your adorable tea date.

Oh he will. He wouldn't just up and leave, he'll be sure to make the rounds and let everyone know he's headed back for death.

Which in his case is a very good thing that he will not talk about and might stoically look at the ground the whole time.

But especially for Rosi who's pretty much the closest thing to a friend he has, and he appreciates everything he's done so much. Especially keeping him from becoming a curmudgeonly hermit. He might even say as much! But no promises, words are hard.
