ok so hear me out. we have no cr (yet) and this is probably one of the weirdest duos i can try and imagine at first glance. but apart from being a good hearted kid to potentially adopt- i feel like the arcs we're interested in exploring are on really similar trajectories.

sora too is pretty at peace with his own death, but he's struggling a lot with his own responsibility for the deaths of his friends. one of the narratives in his canon was pretty explicit about how reckless do-gooding was still reckless, and that even if he was willing to pay that price, he wouldn't be the only one paying it. it sounds like they both have self-worth issues that they've accepted as fact and aren't interested in being convinced out of- but that they're also at a What Now point in their afterlives. i think they could be both good and bad influences on each other, depending on the circumstances, which would open up a pretty big cr spectrum for the future. i guess cards on the table i'm also just a big sucker for working hard for cr to develop and watching relationships slowburn into trust or distrust, etc etc- i like the gritty and sometimes uncomfortable reality of people getting to know each other so if that's your jam or something you'd be interested, just let me know! if not, that's totally cool too!
