Stone in particular is here to yank him back from a cliff, though I dunno if he's good enough for a replacement doctor XD

The cliff-yanking in and of itself is good enough.

Also because of their bonding time with murderbirds: Stone can expect the sensation of smoking cigarettes, consuming alcohol, vibrations in his fingertips from guitar-playing and accompanying musical notions in his head. If Fitz is in danger he'll feel fear, if he's around a pretty lady a bit of lust, occasional wellings of despair and longing for someone and somewhere he can't reach. Plus some boneheaded confusion, pleasure at cracking a decent joke, and the restful respite of dreamless sleep.
