It was strange. Naminé had never had friends before. She'd been a piece of Kairi, a shadow of another person, but sitting here and whispering conspiratorially came naturally to her. For the first time in her life, she was sitting in front of someone who might understand what it felt like to be a piece of someone else. But they were still themselves and they were friends.

She laughed and felt the warmth in her chest lift her.

This was what it was like to have friends.

It felt amazing.

"Oh? I'm not sure where I am staying. It's in the town. Where are you? Can we all stay together?" She didn't know a lot about the town yet but she wanted to explore... maybe after the snow storm. "I might need another coat but I don't have money." Naminé had nothing but her lantern and her white dress.
