[Whatever they want from the kid, they're serious about it - serious enough, anyway, to keep periodically glancing toward him as he retreats, even though they're chirping at Rosinante questioningly, which he assumes means they're asking when they get the candy, or something like that. As a few start to try and shift toward their former captive, he follows their gaze and sees the tablet, and nods. All right. On three.

Which means it's time for one last distraction. For those three seconds, he hands out the pieces of candy to whichever spirits can grab it first, and some among that closest group begin to squabble with each other on who gets to keep hold of it. Rosinante immediately turns and begins to sprint before they can turn on him, because he knows what these candies do - or, more specifically, he doesn't know what they'll do.]

Message me when you get to a building! I'll come find you the long way around!

[He calls to not-Sora as he then runs out toward the southern bridge, clutching his lantern tight so it doesn't swing and throw off his stride. Meanwhile, the spirits are split - some, more devoted to whoever gave them this task, head toward Sora; others try to follow Rosinante, though with his long legs he can outpace them handily so long as he doesn't trip and fall.

The third group, well. One spirit suddenly turns bright purple and inflates, Willy Wonka-style, scattering pieces of armor that no longer fit. Another starts spouting steam from its ears, nose, and a row of pores down its back. A third grows tremendously long legs, and those legs grow legs, and the thing topples over, unable to figure out how to walk in this new configuration. The candies wreak their own form of chaos and Rosinante was really all too glad to be rid of them.]
