۵ TAGGING STYLE: for the foreseeable future i'm bout to be slow as shit so let's just put that out there LOL... i prioritize my npcs over newt, and lately i've been busy with modwork/prepping for sandman and i'm in a murdergame (which is due to finish in ~2 weeks!). i'll be able to hop back on the horse and get back to my usual like mediumish pace after november's over, but until then, i am a glacier.
۵ ABOUT: hey all, i'm your head mod, and i've finally got a PC OF MY OWN, HUZZAH!! i'm very hype to get to experience the game at the player level, though full disclosure, newt's mostly a side hustle for me? modding's always gonna come first, so sometimes (like with the sandman event) he's gonna get banished to the backburner while i, y'know, run the game. i'm gonna keep him away from the plot and just focus on his character arc and getting some good good cr with him.
on that note, i'm chill af as a player. i'm good with whatever pace/tagging speeds, i don't mind curveballs and rolling with the punches, i promise i won't be nitpickily reading tags like "hm they got this game detail wrong!!!", newt is literally just in game for me to dick around and have fun with him. i have no real huge plans in mind so like. come at me and let's see what happens. APPARENTLY I'M A COMPUTER THAT DOESN'T LET ME USE EMOJIS SO IMAGINE THERE'S A THUMBS UP HERE.

۵ SUMMARY: GOD I'M JUST LINKING HIS APP IDK HERE - the tldr is that he's a biologist/mechanical engineer in a world dealing with an alien invasion, and he's died trying to do batshit science stuff to save his world, so now he's in beacon and has been uhhh cockblocked out of saving humanity and is not taking it well. he's loud, blunt, obnoxious, easily set off, arrogant, selfish, and wants desperately to be viewed as a rock star, but he's also a genius, optimistic, adaptable, passionate, can be fun to be around, and like. he's genuinely a good guy, although that's not always the vibe he puts out into the world.

۵ DESIRED CR: Literally anything. I know that's super not helpful so I'll come up with something better for the next cr meme, but for now? I just want to throw him against everyone and see what sticks. I promise not to be a soggy slice of white bread about cr though - I am real good at finding excuses to slam characters together so I'm down to shoot the shit and come up with a plan as opposed to "tag my vague starter and let's see what happens!" if that's not your bag. Some ideas to start: science buds, music buds (newt can play 289374234 instruments...), he could teach your character skills, they could build a thing together, he has alien tattoos that could be a jumping off point for conversation, misfire texts could happen... I'M OPEN.
۵ UNDESIRED CR: Full disclosure, Kit and I plan to ship Newt and Rosalind in some way so shipping is out for Newt. I'm down to do like flirty stuff or w/e since we're slow burning and Newt just got here like four seconds ago, but longterm, Ros has dibs. I'll also say upfront that I'm totally down for negative cr, but that might be subject to change in the future? This is purely because I play NPCs and NPCs can be neg cr magnets - right now I've got a great balance, but I'd prefer not to be playing mostly negative cr. It's just another "prioritizing mod stuff over my PC" thing, since I'm not about to police how y'all engage with the NPCs LOL so if I start to acquire too much negative stuff, I might just need to put that CR on hold somehow for a lil bit. That said, Newt's definitely going to acquire some neg cr LMAO that's just how he be, so don't be afraid to come at him guns blazing. I'll let you know if I need to adjust at any point and we can work something out.
