At the thought of a small, crying spirit, Elle frowns. She has no idea what the spirits around here really look like, and thinks of the Will O' Wisps back home instead. Mischevious, but kindly to her; small and frail lights hiding much more within. She's heard Wisps in distress, lost in the city, and that had made her sad enough.

"Well, then I'm glad you found it," she says, with clear relief, digging through to the bottom of the crate on the other side of the massive pile of costumes. "Do they... talk or communicate? Where I'm from we have Will O' Wisps and they sort of... have musical tones they emit, and you can gauge a mood from that generally."

She makes it sound like an almost common fact, whereas she and her fellow Zier employees are probably among the few living to have seen them. And she absolutely went out of her way to find them, in the middle of the freezing winter. But the strange is Elle's life and this is just more of it, which helps the numbness that's still settled in the pit of her stomach.

"Oh, hey! I think this is a child's costume, it's..." Elle pauses and then snorts as she pulls it out. "Oh. It's a ghost costume. Little on the nose?"
