[Goro was so distracted with what was in front of him that he hadn't even noticed Akira there. Well, if nothing, he was the leader of the Phantom Thieves of Heart for a reason; Or at least that's what he was telling himself. The truth of the matter is that Goro is still very thrown off that he's alive(??) again and adjusting that he's not being nearly as careful as he should be about his persona that he hid behind all of the time.

Doing a sharp turn to address who spoke to him, he felt that unease sink in. Akira was here too? Sure he'd "died" before, but he didn't actually die... Goro couldn't make heads or tails of the situation right now and frankly his was too distracted by Akira's presence to even care. He'd been getting flashbacks of his last moments over the course of time that he'd been here, but they all came back to the surface in that instance. What he felt when he'd finally gave in and asked to make the deal with him.
How was he supposed to feel right now? Everything he'd worked for had been stripped away in a short amount of time. He had nothing left and nothing he did mattered anymore. Was he supposed to be happy that Akira was here or angry because of all of the circumstances behind them?
If he was trying to keep his cool, it was not working right now as he was trying to figure out how to deal with this situation or even how to feel. It seemed like hours before he said anything, but even if it was only a few minutes, it definitely felt strained.]
